Independent Study Shows Wirefly Leads in Popularity
Among Cell Phone Shoppers

Wirefly ( http://www.wirefly.com ) is the number one destination of cell phone shoppers, according to the competitive intelligence research firm Keynote Systems (NASDAQ: KEYN).

In the Keynote Customer Experience Rankings for Wireless Web Sites study released August 16, 2005, more than 79% of consumers with Internet access prefer to use cell phone company websites to compare rate plans and phones as compared to visiting a retail store for such comparisons. And of the online destinations, Wirefly.com ranked #1.

At a time when the cell phone market is booming— the market is expected to reach $110 billion and grow by more than 50% to 200 million consumers by late 2006, according to Keynote Systems — the competition for cellular customers is intense.

The study found what many in the wireless industry already knew. Dr. Bonny Brown, director of research at Keynote, said, "We found a handful of wireless provider sites dominate in terms of the online experience, while many well-known brand names ranked poorly... wireless aggregator sites perform exceedingly well."

Even though Wirefly was not as well known of a brand as T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Cingular or other wireless carriers, Wirefly.com was preferred and got high marks from consumers "in large part because of the strength of their selection, as well as their plan and phone shopping process."
